Taking a random break from essay-writing to post an excerpt from a lecture by art critic Peter Schjeldahl.

I mentioned that I like to listen to lectures to relax, right? heh, a bit nerdy… but this is one of my favorites. Many of the things he says I agree with, and some have influenced the way I think about art (and some I don’t agree with but meh, that’s just as valuable).

Admittedly, maybe I’m trying to get encouraged by the video title, “Good Artists Tend To Be Bad Students,” heheh…
